"This is a beautiful site--the nicest Old Time Radio site I've
seen. I love classic radio. I haven't seen a TV in 16 years. I
love the wholesome programming of 50s radio, with its
imaginative effects. I enjoy all of it--Broadway, bands,
mysteries, sci-fi. It's funny to think that now I listen to Old time
Radio on my iPod, and not my radio. I'll be back to listen. I'm
sure I MUST hear The Chicken Man!

"I think my favorite, until it went off the air, was Captain Midnight. I
used to get my mother to buy some cereal I didn't like, so I could mail
in two box tops and 25 cents to get a secret decoder. The Captain
would send secret messages to fans at the end of the show; if you
had the ring you could decode it. Exciting! Almost like being a secret
agent! When I was either side of ten I used to listen to radio shows all
the time. I watched as some of them went from radio to TV: Amos 'n'
Andy, Lone Ranger, Gunsmoke, Mr. District Attorney, Dragnet, and
others. Happily most of the stuff I loved back then has been reissued
on CDs (by people like you!)"
